SPEAKERS:

AUGUST 1st - Mary Kay Wydra, President of the Greater Springfield and Convention Visitors Bureau (GSCVB) and Todd Greenwood, Vice President of Convention Center Sales and Marketing. Mary Kay will explain the role the GSCVB plays as the Regional Tourist Council for the region and Todd will give an update on the MassMutual Center and Pioneer Valley Pride, the concept of locals bringing conventions home to their own backyard.

AUGUST 8th - We will hear from representatives on the upcoming Greater New England Air Show to be held at Westover Air Reserve Base September 6 & 7, 2008. Mr. Bud Shuback, President of the Galaxy Community Council along with Lt. Col. Joe Revit will be providing details of this exciting event that draws over a quarter of a million people to our area.
