He started his company Valley Vodka, Inc in late 2004. Prior to leaving his career in banking, he spent the better part of two years crafting his own vodka recipe. This included "moon shining" early recipes in his Hadley, MA basement and later working with a master distiller in Lublin, Poland. In September, 2005, Paul launched V-One Vodka, the world¹s first 100% Spelt wheat Vodka. Within its first two years on the market , V-One earned national acclaim with a Gold Medal at the World Spirit Competition in San Francisco California, "Superb 95 points" in Wine Enthusiast Magazine, and "Four Stars, Outstanding" from the Spirit Journal. Today V-One Vodka is available in over 1000 locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
