FROM THE ARCHIVES:  From the April 3, 1953 meeting, " Mr. Greville of Cardiff, Wales, a lecturer on International Affairs who also served as a war crimes investigator in the British Army on the Rhine from 1947-1948, spoke and detailed that Turkey is a steady and good friend of the West, and that Israel will survive, somehow as a nation, and that if the West can find a solution to the problem of the poverty of the Arab world, we can win lasting support from the whole Middle East."
