FROM THE ARCHIVES: At the August 26, 1949 meeting Professor Stanley C. Ross a former President of the Northampton Rotary Club, and, previously, a Professor of Economics at Smith College, and, for two years, he was a member of the Office of Price Administration, spoke about the international issues involving International Service as it applies to an expanding population trend in the world, saying that Rotarians should not "eat, burp, and go home" but should become more involved in understanding and respect of and for individuals of different races.
