Wine Tasting & Charity Auction Night To BenefitSpringfield Rotary Club

(2/13/07; Springfield, MA)  The Springfield Rotary Club’s third annual Wine Tasting & Charity Auction Night will be held Friday, March 23^rd, at Sheraton Hotel ballroom in downtown Springfield. Doors open at 6:00pm for the silent auction, with the live auction beginning at 8:00pm.

Sponsored by Fettes Wine & Spirits on Page Boulevard in Springfield, this year’s Wine Tasting & Charity Auction is entitled “Jazzalicious” and will feature the jazz stylings of the Jonathan Lorentz Trio. Over 50 different wines from vineyards around the world will be available for sampling, along with hot hors d’oeuvres and cheeses.

The auction will consist of hundreds of items, services, and gift certificates donated by companies and individuals from throughout Western Massachusetts. The Rotary Club’s largest fund-raising event of the year, the auction will provide funds to fulfill grant requests from local non-profit organizations.
