CONGRATULATIONS to David Dambrov and his bride, Marieanne who chose Look Park for the site of their August 18th wedding. David exemplifies the dedication of a fine Rotarian who cares so much about his attendance record he even interrupted his honeymoon to attend last week's meeting!
IN THE SPOTLIGHT - Stephen Jablonski - Sergeant-at-Arms, Board of Directors 2007-2008
Steve is a well-known and respected architect in the City of Springfield. As owner of Stephen Jablonski Architects, he has a vast knowledge of renovations of historical properties. Perhaps you have seen him on TV news making a presentation before a group. In early 2000 he bicycled cross country from the Pacific Shores to the Atlantic Coast over ten weeks. He received his Bachelor of Architecture at Syracuse University and studied at the Architecture Association, London, England. This high-energy Rotarian, since 1998, turns his back on TV and gives freely of his time to community involvement with The Open Pantry, The Gray House, the Springfield Library and Museums (of which he is a corporator), and of course, the Rotary Club of Springfield's Toy for Joy Committee. Somehow, Steve squeezes in time to participate in triathlons and do some hiking. In addition, he frequently walks to meetings! Traveling and reading are on his "like to do" list. Steve and his wife, Darlene, live in Springfield.

of one percent last week. Do become a "one-half of one percenter!" See you at next meeting.]
