IT WAS A SPECIAL MOMENT at our October 26th meeting when District Governor Dick Borden,
assisted by our Membership Chair, Jim Russell, honored 9 members with a combined total of
339 years as Rotarians. Bill Collins was presented with a special pin containing a diamond to celebrate Bill's 54 years as a Springfield Rotarian. The following members were presented pins representing their years of membership: John Mann, 45; Paul Sears, 40; Mario Cantalini, 40; Bill Massidda, 39; Judge Sid Cooley, 35; Bob Agnoli, 32 years, Bob Dambrov, 29 years; and Peter Pappas, 25 years. The following were recognized for theiryears of perfect attendance with a special pin with a tab indicating the number of years: Al Gay, Jim Gay, Valerie Dulude, and Elaine Lemieux. It was great to see so many long-term members attended the meeting and renew friendships.
At the Paul Harris Dinner held on October 11, 2007, Al LaRiviere and Jim Russell were each awarded a special membership pin and year tabs recognizing the 42 years each has been a Rotarian. The following received membership tabs for their respective years as members: Al Gay, 38 years; Ray Serrenho, 37; Don Walker, 30; and Stan Strzempek, 28 years.
Congratulations to all.
DID YOU KNOW? Now that winter is coming upon us, try out the underground parking at Max's.
Keeps your car dry when it's raining; warm when it's snowing; leaf free in autumn, and cool in the summer. Use the North parking lot and follow the signs. Park on the left as you go down the ramp and you'll be right next to the elevator.
