Dear Fellow Rotarians,
 
We had another great meeting this past Friday where we had Chairs and Committee leads share with us all of the exciting activities and events being worked on at our Club Assembly meeting.  I am excited that each Chair and Committee lead will be providing an update in our Bulletin in case you were not able to make our meeting.  Thanks again to Alisa Garanzha our Director, Technology Liaison and is creating our bulletin format for us to enjoy!
 
Also, thanks for Gillian Palmer, new member, who has stepped up and will be our 2017/2018 Special Events Chair and will lead our Sidewalk Art project (details to come).  Thank you, Gillian.  Also, special congratulations to Gillian who got engaged while on vacation in the Dominican Republic!  Congratulations…we look forward to meeting your fiancé!  Also, special congratulations to Brennan and his wife, Emily, on expecting bundle of joy…first baby!
 
This Friday we will welcome Stacey R. Price, director of development and marketing at Dakin Humane Society in Springfield.  She will be providing an overview of Dakin's programs and their impact on the community.  Lamont, First Vice President will lead our meeting while I am attending my doctoral classes.  Thanks, Lamont!

Rotaract Club
The Chair of the Rotaract Club continues to seek collaboration with the Enfield Rotary Club to combine efforts at Bay Path University.  It is hopeful that a lunch visit to the Enfield Rotary Club can move along these efforts.  The Chair will continue to provide an update  as efforts move forward.

The Rotary Foundation Drive
We are happy to report over $6,000 contributed from our Club Members. Thank you to all those who have brought the Club over our goal.   Let’s not stop here!  Just nine more donations of $133($100 to The Rotary Foundation and $33 to Polio Plus) will bring our total over $7,000.   Your contributions will be helping to advance our Club’s commitment to fight polio and provide clean water.  John Perez is diligently working to prepare are application to help steer your donations to bring clean water rural Cambodia through a global grant.  As Rotarians, each of our individual actions create ripple effect of positive good to help bring dignity to each global citizen.  Please help our Club achieve 100% participation and make a donation today!

APRIL 28-30, 2017
