This summer we are planning to award $10,000 in grants to Springfield-based non-profit organizations that benefit the Greater Springfield Community. This year all grant projects will relate to serving the Springfield Community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The grant application period is open until Friday, June 26, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. No grant applications will be accepted after the June 26th deadline. Grants will be awarded at a virtual Rotary meeting on Friday July 10, 2020.
The maximum request for each grant is $2,000. Non-profits with a 501c3 status are eligible to fill out an application on the Springfield Rotary clubs website https://forms.gle/HyLWi9Y3Kq5M7erP6.

Friends of the Homeless (FOH) is a program of Clinical & Support Options Inc. (https://www.csoinc.org), a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and nonprofit behavioral health agency providing Western Mass. individuals and families with trauma-informed, nonjudgmental in-home and outpatient therapy and counseling, crisis and respite services, substance use programs, housing and shelter resources, therapeutic after-school programs, and community support.
FOH operates the largest emergency shelter for adult individuals in Western Mass. Each night, It houses an average of 150 individuals experiencing homelessness (more than 1,000 individuals per year), and it serves 150,000 hot meals annually (3 meals a day, 365 days a year).
This year due to the pandemic surrounding Covid-19, the Springfield Rotary Club will NOT be conducting their annual Paul Harris dinner in June.
The club decided that with the great difficulties surrounding our community, the Springfield Rotary Club would continue to provide their annual grants to support local Springfield organizations who are making a positive difference!
