THIS FRIDAY
This Friday, May 18th, Bob Dambrov will be celebrating 40 years in the Springfield Rotary club. We do not know if Bob remembers the exact date, but we will honor him for his years of Service with a cake and a walking stick courtesy of Dene Kimball.

Please try to attend this Friday to offer Bob your congratulations. If you see Bob during the week, please don't spoil the surprise BUT, try and encourage him to attend this weeks meeting. He usually does, so our chances are pretty good of seeing him there.

Our speaker this week will be Joe Kane, Program Director, CHD Cancer House of Hope.
Joe Kane, Program Director, CHD Cancer House of Hope will address the Springfield Rotary Club's luncheon meeting this Friday, May 18th. Joe will introduce us to the House, the services they offer, how they’re funded, what types of volunteer opportunities are available, and how they are looking to spread their mission to other parts of Hampden county.

The CHD Cancer House of Hope is located in West Springfield. They are committed to providing access to free services and therapies that bring comfort, care, strength, resilience and hope to patients with cancer and their loved ones. They focus on reducing stress and promoting comfort for people with cancer and their families and friends by offering programs and services in a non-institutional and home-like setting.

Joe Kane has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, marketing, and community relations. He also has been involved in the Western MA community through volunteer work and business outreach activities. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and Anna Maria College (also in Worcester) where he earned a Masters in Business Administration.
