I am also excited to share that myself and Ellen Moorhouse will be meeting with Dr Maryanne Herron and team members from her clinic in Cambodia this Wednesday to learn how the Club to contribute to her success. We are planning to apply for an Rotary International Grant for the Cambodian Clinic and build a partnership with a Rotary Club in Cambodia.
Last please note your calendars for our upcoming club assembly on August 7th, 2015. 1st-Vice President Laurie Rosner and Director Sue Mastroianni will be leading a demonstration of Clubrunner. We are in the process of creating options for you to pay dues and make contributions from the comfort of your backyard all on the Rotary Club of Springfield website. The meeting will take place in the Basketball Hall of Fame Board Room. Thank you to Paul Lambert and Max’s Catering for making arrangements for us while the main banquet facility is give a face lift.

On Friday, Aug 7th, we are having a Club Assembly and VP Laurie Rosner will be running this meeting in the absence of current President Jack Toner.
Sue Mastroianni has graciously accepted to give a brief demonstration on how to use ClubRunner to our members. We strongly encourage all members to attend this meeting in the hopes to better understand electronic resources. Sue will walk you through how to log in, find someone's email in the directory and send an email to 1 or 66 members with just 1 click.
Lastly, Max Catering will be renovating our meeting room in for several weeks in August. We will maintain are regular Friday meeting schedule of 12:15PM to 1:30PM. The Basketball Hall of Fame and Max’s will provide signage to direct Rotarians to the 2nd floor Hall of Fame Board Meeting Room for our meeting.
